The Path to Loving Green Smoothies in 5 Stages
Upon hearing about green smoothies for the first time, few people are eager to try them. At first, people usually have an inaccurate idea of what green smoothies are and how they will taste. Green smoothies are not something you buy from a package, can or envelope at the grocery store! They are freshly made from raw ingredients (or, mostly raw).
“what is a green smoothie?
A green smoothie is a blended meal
that you drink like a milkshake
that is made from mostly raw, living foods
such as dark leafy green vegetables, nuts, seeds, ice and fruit.
When made correctly, the taste is fantastic.
More importantly, however, is that green smoothies give you a sustained, alkalinizing energy
that help you to feel ten years younger”
Eventually, many people come to love green smoothies — especially as they see their appearance improve and come to feel better than they ever have before — but in the beginning, they are a bit weary! Here are the 5 stages on the path to learning to love green smoothies!
Stage 1: Awkward Silence
The most striking feature of green smoothies is that they are laden with fresh vegetables and for this reason their color is often a vibrant green.
Many people find the thought of “drinking green” to be peculiar, if not off-putting, and or this reason, many believe — at first — that green smoothies are not for them.
Stage 2: Fleeting Glances
After hearing about green smoothies a second or third time, many people’s interest is re-piqued. As off-putting as drinking something green may have sounded at first, what’s even more off-putting is feeling tired and bloated all the time. And then it happens: not only have you long since grown out of your skinny jeans (that pair of jeans you haven’t worn in ages but refuse to toss because you hope that one day you can fit into them again) but this morning even your “chubby jeans” felt uncomfortably snug.
Stage 3: Getting to Know You
You hear about another friend or relative who’s having a significant health challenge. They’re going to be okay (thank goodness they were diagnosed early) but this is the third friend this year that’s been surprised with a health setback. What’s more, your annual physical is coming up, and last year your doctor told you that you needed to make changes in your daily diet and exercise habits or there would be complications in your near future. So you browse a couple of articles and recipes online.
“…if you saw my driver’s license photo, you wouldn’t recognize me in it — I barely recognize myself! The photo was taken before I discovered freshly made green smoothies, back when I was, well, fatter. After making and drinking smoothies for a year, all of that weight came off, plus my face looks less puffy and more youthful. I eventually had to get new clothes, even my ‘skinny clothes’ were too chubby.
Of course, it wasn’t all smooth-sailing: in the beginning, I made some mistakes (pretty much the same mistakes everyone makes). For instance, when I first started, I put milk and banana into a blender and then added some powder I got from a can at the grocery store. Wrong! That is not a freshly made green smoothie! Also, at first, smoothies made me light-headed and wouldn’t sustain my energy, but Dane showed me on to use the right ingredients and the right ratios. It turns out, I needed to add more ‘clean fat,’ such as raw, sprouted seeds. Thanks to Dane, I feel better now than I ever have before. Freshly made green smoothies ROCK!”

How to Use Your Blender to Become Lean and Energized! ~ eBooklet
“…I read the eBooklet on making fresh green smoothies
and promptly set about changing my typical fruit smoothie
to have greens in it.
But I did not believe you when you said to start slowly!
I dumped a bunch of green stuff in the mixer and,
well… you know how it went.
Had to force it down! Now I changed to follow your advice:
start with just a few greens to the mix until I get used to it.
And guess what? I really like adding a little celery
and some radish sprouts.
Very good stuff! I’ll be adding a little bit more over time,
just like you suggested.
Sometimes it’s good to follow advice, eh?”

“…I’ve always been a no-breakfast person.
But what I didn’t realize was that
skipping breakfast only made me lethargic and lazy all day long.
And I’d eat a whole lot more at lunch than I would have otherwise!
So, when I came across Dane’s smoothie recipes,
I decided to give them a shot.
Only one week in and I already feel much more energetic
than I have in the last ten years.
And I also tend to eat less lunch
which is great to control weight.
I plan to start smoothies for lunch too.
Slim waistline, here I come!”

Stage 4: First Kiss
Your friend — the one who has amazing skin, bright eyes, and who laughs easily — made you one of their green smoothies and you tasted it. Hmm: you’re not sure. It certainly doesn’t taste as scrumptious as the caramel-whipped iced coffee blended that you order from the corner cafe, but it’s also not as bad as you thought.
You admit to yourself that your tastebuds have become accustomed to the standard modern diet of high salt, high sugar, and those artificial flavors that they slip into everything — and you decide that you like the green smoothie enough to possible try it again one day.
You glance over at your fit friend and try to remember what it was like — how it felt — the last time you lunged out of bed each morning with enthusiasm. What would it be like to have a strong, flexible body again, you wonder?
I encourage you to pick up the Longevity Lifestyle Kit and experience the positive results it will have on your daily life. All five items in the kit are designed to work synchronistically. Each items serve a specific purpose, and combined they become super powerful. Enjoy the value and savings of getting all 5 items together!
Stage 5: Eternal Love!
Who’d ever have thought you’d be into green smoothies? You’re the type of person who is supposed to roll-the-eyes at such things, but now here you are enjoying them!
You started out having one or two a week. Your first few batches didn’t turn out very good. But you stuck with it, and now they’re tasting much better and you even got a new, better blender so that you can pulverize anything!
You’re having at least one green smoothie a day now and you’re already starting to look and feel better. For the time being, your green smoothies have more fruit than vegetables, but you’re hopeful that as your taste buds evolve, one day you’ll be able to transition to more-veg-than-fruit.
Who knows what’s possible now? Who knows how you might look and feel six months from now? You’re excited by the possibilities (I hope)!
