for deliberately attracting what you want
(and avoiding what you don’t want).
The law of attraction is simply a name given to a dynamic that is always at play within the universe. Others throughout human history have discovered that if you align with this natural law then — over time — you can manifest your dream life.
I was touched and appreciative to receive in the mail recently a wallet-sized card — from Michael Losier, author of the bestseller Law of Attraction — that provides a handy, helpful, at-a-glance reminder for manifesting the life you dream of!

Three Steps toward Creating Your Dream Life
“…by focusing on the things in are life that are working,
we manifest more joy and prosperity”
Step 1: Identify Your Desire
The part about Step One for me that was so pivotal and life-improving was “clarity through contrast.” Because some people have a harder time deciding what it is that they absolutely want, being able to first identify what is not wanted, and then imagining the opposite of that, can help you hone-in on what you do want.
I know it sounds simple and obvious, but for me (and for many others) this is an extremely helpful principle.

Step 2: Give Your Desire Attention
By the way, once you know what you don’t want, it’s important not to observe it any longer than you need to. If you hyper-focus on what you don’t want, you’ll only get more of it!
“…the process of observing
appears to influence what is being observed;
The observer is necessary to observe
and when they observe they bring the thing that is being observed
from a state/wave of probability to a particle of experience”
~ Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle of Metaphysics
It’s so essential to remain mindful about what thoughts we are thinking. By focusing on the things in are life that are working, we manifest more joy and prosperity. We can make our dream life a reality. In a sense, our brains are little 3-pound manifesting machines!

Step 3: Allow It
Step Three is the hardest for most of us. Our habitual inner-monologue is sometimes full of negative thoughts, and our unconscious is sometimes rife with limiting beliefs — beliefs that we didn’t even know we had! This is where we are challenged to do The Work. As we increase our awareness and come to know ourselves better and more authentically, we can start to make conscious choices that rewire our brains and help facilitate what we dream!
(I encourage you to explore some of Michael Losier’s books and seminars. I’ve read both Law of Attraction and Law of Connection, and can vouch for them both whole-heartedly.)
“…as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others”
~ Marianne Williamson

- ◕ what would you like to manifest?

Dane, Great points! It seems that number 3 is the hardest to do. By allowing it to happen will often mean we need to change from what we are currently doing. Making this change is the challenge, in most cases. This is a great 3 step way to moving forward in a more intentional way. Thanks! Jon
I’m with you, Jon: change can be challenging. It’s easier, I find, when there’s an ample process of preparation, asking ourselves questions like “why am I wanting this?” “what action step can I do each day toward achieving it, and (perhaps most importantly) “how will I be tempted to get in my own way?”
LOVED the message, Dane! I believe wholeheartedly in manifesting and attracting what we want in our lives. I believe our thoughts play a key role in those things we welcome; so we must be extremely mindful of what we’re asking the Universe to send in our direction, because as you said here, It will surely deliver. At this stage in my life, I’ve been manifesting more knowledge and wisdom. I believe with those two elements everything else I desire will begin to show themselves more in my life. Not to mention, one can never truly have enough. I also desire to begin ushering into my life prosperity. I’ve been unemployed for four years now, and I would love to have my efforts in becoming a better writer rewarded monetarily. However, I am grateful that having been unemployed for that length of time, I have been blessed to have my needs (and a lot of “wants” as well) being supplied. At any rate, thanks for sharing this sharpening message. It was very insightful and enriching info, mate. Blessings.
Oh… and P.S. Loving the beard! It looks good on you, my friend.
Thank you, Deone! I do truly believe that when we celebrate the goodness in our lives, we’re sent more of the same. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that prosperity loves enthusiasm.
Which of these 3 steps to manifesting do you find easiest?
I went to listen to someone talk about a year ago and was very interested to hear her insight into the workings of the laws of attraction — she explained that the Universe responds more strongly when you address two things while doing this sort of work:
The first was to incorporate service to others in what you are asking for. For instance, if you want to become a better meditator that can be of service to others by making you kinder and more present in your dealings with them.
The other looked at magnifying the process by dropping into a deeper state of mental calm while visualizing what you want to manifest (right after meditating or other forms deepened states of consciousness).
This is such a great reminder – simple yet often so hard as we get sidetracked by our many daily todos and rituals. Must remember to carve out time for making this happen….
Thanks!
Believing in the effort you put forth definitely makes it more real to everyone around you.
Vibes and the universe on a more personal level: when what I want has to do with my man, I find that visualizing the interactions I want — along with what you might call prayer or trying to telepathically communicate with his mind — and having The Universe communicate with his heart (i ask it to; i try all of this), this seems to help or even produce results.
I really do wonder about the strength of telepathic communications, and the strength of mine in particular, as my intuition and prediction seems better and better. I should try this stuff with my mom!
Before I understood the universe brings more of that on which I focus my attention, I assumed the universe would know that I only want more of the “good” things I think about.
I never thought of my brain as a 3-pound manifesting machine! I like the visual!
I met Michael Losier — author of the mega-bestselling Law Of Attraction — for coffee this morning. I’m still buzzing from all of his light-hearted, positive energy and insights! He gave me this button!
